Silicon Valley Top 50 Startups, Yocale
Certified Management Consultant (CMC)
Arash trained as an engineer and built his career inside enterprise software. Over fourteen years at Aptean he rose to Executive Vice President of Business Solutions and Strategic Alliances, running a $500 million portfolio of CRM, ERP and marketing automation products, turning a declining business unit around to 23 percent annual growth and taking the company's largest global division to profitability.
In 2013, with a senior executive career well established, he left to start Yocale from scratch. More than a decade later he still leads it as CEO, and the platform he built has become the foundation for a public company.
Alongside Yocale, he is Managing Partner of Arete Venture Capital Corporation, which has worked on more than $350 million in real estate development and construction. He has represented Canadian technology on trade missions and at investment forums from Australia to Dubai.
Running a business, especially a service-based business, is very tough. Our mission was to make that simple, to let business owners run their business rather than it running them.
Arash Asli, Founder and CEO, Yocale
Independent clinics, salons and practices compete for the same clients as large chains, without the systems that let large companies run efficiently. Arash spent fourteen years leading enterprise software businesses that served companies with $250 million to $3 billion in revenue, and saw firsthand how much of an advantage those systems create.
He founded Yocale in 2013 to give independent businesses that same advantage, with booking, payments, client records and marketing in one system built for their size and budget.
Bookings, payments, invoicing, memberships, client records and compliance in a single platform built for independent businesses.
More than a decade of development with the clinics, salons and practices that use it every day, across more than 20 countries.
In 2026, Yocale’s beauty and wellness business spun out as Yocale.ai Inc. and listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
The principles Arash has shared in Fast Company and in his talk on hiring at a global family office summit in Dubai.
